John Villec is composer and multimedia artist from Rubidoux, California .  He is currently an adjunct faculty of commercial music and multimedia at Sacramento City College and San Joaquin Delta College.  He received his Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees from California State University, Sacramento and has completed post graduate study at the University of Oregon.  John also studied music Humboldt State University and holds a CLAD Teaching Credential from National University.  He is a frequent collaborator with visual artists, advertising agencies, and publishers of educational materials.  His media compositions have been performed at music, film, and multimedia festivals worldwide.   His commercial compositions can be heard on radio, television, and streaming media.  During his musical career, John has performed in working rock ensembles, developed a solid reputation as a live sound engineer, and survived teaching in elementary school (including Kindergarten).
